Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. has announced the launch of its latest Direct View LED displays, expanding the FE Series with FExxi3, and building on the heritage of NEC under Sharp name.
Available in four pre-configured kits (LED-FE012i3-110, LED-FE015i3-137, LED-FE019i3-165, and LED-FE012i3-220) for a turn-key solution, they each come with fully customizable options. The new displays use up to 60% less power consumption without sacrificing brightness or image quality, says Sharp. Along with improved image quality and better energy efficiency, they also afford versatile installation options, catering to a broad range of industries and applications.

“Leveraging advanced LED technology, these displays deliver brilliant, high-contrast visuals while maintaining energy efficiency,” confirms Rolland Manger, Senior Director, Marketing & Business Planning at Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. “Ideal for diverse commercial and professional environments, the Sharp FExxi3 seamlessly integrates into boardrooms, auditoriums, retail and airport signage, situational awareness centers, and museums. These versatile applications highlight the displays’ adaptability and superior performance.”
The new FExxi3 models feature improved power consumption through efficient LED diodes, reducing the overall cost of ownership while maintaining brightness and image quality. This energy-efficient design minimizes heat generation, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing expenses.
“Designed for ease of installation, the new displays use the same chassis and installation methods as previous models, ensuring seamless upgrades,” adds Kalden Tsung, Product Marketing Manager, Visual Solutions. “Their flexible mounting options support various configurations, including landscape and portrait orientations, providing adaptable solutions for signage, meeting rooms, auditoriums, and more.”
