Following the company’s decision to go direct in Canada, along with the appointment of Brad Middleton as National Sales Manager for the country late last year, architectural audio company Sonance has announced the appointment of several new rep partners to serve dealers north of the border.
Dubbed the “next phase” in its “direct residential sales structure” in Canada, Sonance has named new rep partners for several provinces and territories with plans to fill the remaining positions in the coming days and weeks.
“We had a lot of interest come pouring in from all over the country,” says Middleton. “We knew we had to be prepared to move quickly so that sales for our customers could continue smoothly.”
Currently, Sonance has onboarded five new rep firms for Canada, each of which comes with proven success in their respective territories. They all focus on strategic categories within the residential channel, including lighting, automation, and audio.
Sonance has welcomed Flux Lighting, as well as residential rep agencies 5 Element, Adanac Sales, Contact Delage, and The Press Agency.

Sonance has maintained its sales format for the commercial channel in Canada, managing all commercial Canada sales through its long-standing partnership with SC Media.
