Following the launch of the Tapo RV10 and RV10 Lite robot vacuums, TP-Link is launching the upgraded Tapo RV10 Plus, equipped with advanced technology, gyroscope navigation, auto-empty dock, and built-in wet mopping capability as well. It sells for US$300.
Thanks to the auto-empty dock, you can use the vacuum for up to 70 days without needing to empty the dustbin. It has a 4L extra-large sealed disposable dust bag that automatically empties the dustbin after cleaning, which is not only a cleaner method but is also helpful to those who suffer from severe dust and dirt allergies.
The Tapo RV10 Plus dock features a tail-suction air duct that is nearly 45% shorter than an ordinary bottom-suction duct, says TP-Link, with super-strong suction power. The dock empties the dustbin within moments and leaves no residue in the bin or on the floor. Additionally, the dock smartly adjusts empty duration according to cleaning time to reduce noise interference.
The gyroscope navigation guides the robot in a neat zigzag pattern for higher cleaning efficiency. It has four vacuum modes and is ideal for all types of daily messes on both carpets and hard floors, as well as pet hair. Since it has a built-in mop as well, it can also do a wet mop of hard floors after a vacuum. The full-size 300ml water tank covers up to 2,100 square feet, and the electronic pump provides three levels of water flow to suit different floor types with consistent and steady water pressure.
You can pair the vacuum with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to control the Tapo RV10 Plus with simple voice commands. Customize cleaning schedules, switch cleaning modes, and monitor the smart robot vacuum’s status from the Tapo app.
Equipped with a 2,600mAh battery, the Tapo RV10 Plus provides three hours of continuous cleaning every full charge. The smart robot vacuum returns to the charging dock automatically when the battery gets low, and then restarts right where it left off.
Tapo RV10 Plus is equipped with triple noise suppression to decrease sound as low as 53dB while in use. A dynamic balance fan further reduces the ground noise of the motor and integrates an optimal duct design proved by simulations to reduce wind noise.
The Tapo RV10 Plus is available for US$300.
